To search for contrast in scarcity
No need to pack for this trip

At the oasis I did unwind
Took just enough to realize
Even the desert is full life

Now every pebble
Has its own story to tell
And every color and shape
On the surface melt
I swear I’ll never believe in hell
If every moment I could be cast under this spell

Well all my hatred has faded away
Like seeing the world from outer space
How clumsy was I to never portray
This feeling of elation in my former days

Atop the dunes I had peace of mind
Took just enough to redefine
What makes creation so damn divine

Every good thing comes to an end
I’m left with memories I’ll soon forget
Just like the desert I’m exposed to the wind
One last step and I’m back to the Earth again

Into the city I long return
With no more reason to be concerned
