Turn the Tide

This song was created for Game of Bands round 187 : "A Capella"

Lyrics:

Gaia sings a story softly spoke,
A gift given now soon revoked.
Sullied beaches, spoiled lands,
Too much of it the work of man.
Species once but now no more,
Toxins linger on the ocean floor.
We are at fault, we are to blame,
Yet some of us have no shame.

Rich villains, false pride,
Where will they run and hide?
Rich villains, no virtue, their greed Will only hurt you.
Stand up and rise!
Together we'll turn the tide.

Oh polar bear, why such a mood?
Is it because you have no food?
To us just ice, to them a home,
A world build upon their bones.
Southern friends, we watch them burn,
The sky we taint, we never learn.
We are at fault, we are to blame,
Yet some of us have no shame.

Rich villains, so blind,
What will we leave behind?
Rich villains, no care,
How can the youth prepare?
Stand up and rise!
Together we'll turn the tide.

(Thank you for listening, have a nice day!)
